Gospa Missions was founded in 1990 by Thomas Rutkoski following a profound reversion to the Catholic faith.
About Gospa Missions
Gospa Missions is deeply rooted in a profound spiritual journey, guided by the Blessed Mother's intercession. Our story began with Tom, our founder, whose path was illuminated by her grace, leading to the establishment of our mission. Her unwavering support continues to sustain and enrich our endeavors, allowing us to lead souls to Jesus through her loving guidance.
The journey has not always been easy, yet we are filled with gratitude for the opportunity to persist in our mission. Our ongoing work is a testament to the power of faith and community.
Gospa Missions is dedicated to honoring the Blessed Mother by engaging in activities that bring people closer to Christ. We invite you to partake in Our Lady’s Power Hour, a weekly virtual rosary with reflections by Bishop Strickland, or delve into our quarterly newsletter. Join us on pilgrimages to Medjugorje and shrines in the Northeastern USA, or attend our biannual retreats in spring and fall. Our vision includes the hope of establishing a chapel in our Evans City store, furthering our commitment to spiritual enrichment.
We pursue our mission, and Our Lady’s mission, in several ways:
- Selling religious goods in our online store and Amazing Grace bookstore in Evans City, PA
- Supporting more than 400 children in need at the orphanages and schools we founded in India.
- Holding one-day conferences and retreats drawing on prominent Catholic speakers to energize the faithful and introduce the Catholic faith to those outside of the Catholic faith.

All proceeds from our sales and generous gifts from our donors continue to support our work of evangelization and the work of Abode for Children in caring for the world’s most vulnerable children. All services and opportunities provided by Gospa Missions are consistent with the teaching of the Holy See and the Magisterium.
