Saints
The Catholic devotion of seeking the intercession of the saints stems from the belief that we are surrounded by a “great cloud of witnesses,” those already in Heaven who intercede on our behalf. Just like we ask our friends and family on earth to pray for us, so can we ask our Heavenly friends to pray for us. Their lives and wisdom can provide us with inspiration and encouragement as we navigate our own earthly journey.
